Figs & Pomegranates

For the past few weeks, I have been discussing the use of digital programs and APPs as an integral part of my studio ware and tools. I have discussed the push-and-pull, back-and-forth synthesizing technique between classic drawing and painting with the digital. The printer has become another platform to create upon, just as the paper and the canvas, often ending up printed on a classic platform such as canvas or paper.

Presented in my exhibit "From the Mountain to the Sea", were three works, two shown here; "Figs" and "Pomegranates". The original photographs were taken in my garden. I then proceeded my synthesizing of the photo's on various APPs and Programs The printed versions for the exhibit, looked like lithographs. They were printed on fine Belgian cotton paper. For the exhibit, I tried to keep within the classic feel of hand printed works.

These works as all the works on my blogs are Printable and for sale. They are Barbara Adler originals. I love talking about my art and almost any subject related, so feel free to DM to converse and purchase my art, making it yours.
